Stage I Cancer

Головна / Dictionary / Stage I Cancer

Stage I cancer is an early stage of cancer development. At this point, cancer cells are found only on the surface of the affected organ or area. They have not yet invaded deeper tissues, nearby structures, lymph nodes, or spread to other parts of the body. Because the cancer is localized and confined to its origin, Stage I is often considered highly treatable. Treatments such as surgery, radiation, or localized therapies can be very effective at this stage, often leading to a good prognosis. Early detection plays a critical role in identifying cancer at Stage I, significantly improving the chances of successful treatment.
